I tossed and turned lastnight,
conflicting elements kept me awake.
An over abundance of caffeine,
a mattress that was flipped
& rampant thoughts that ran through my head.
I had the beginnings to a headache,
too much laughter?

I don't want to push too far
or pull too hard.
I'm unsure where we are headed,
if any place at all.
Call me naive but I'm still hopeful
you'll come around,
even just for coffee.
